Bulk updates

This page lists the pending updates of the extensions (Joomla) or plugins (WordPress) installed on your managed websites, so you can update them from a single place. Open it with the "Bulk updates" button of the Dashboard; the number next to the button shows how many updates are pending.

For each pending update the table shows the website alias, the extension name, the installed version and the latest version available.

Use the search box to find extensions by name or website alias. "Filter Options" (Search tools in WordPress) lets you narrow the list by extension name, website alias, status (OK or failed) or ignored state. By default, ignored extensions are not shown.

To update, select the extensions/plugins and click on the "Update" button. An update task is assigned to each website; making a backup before applying updates is recommended. Once the process is completed, the result is shown in the "Status" column of each row.

If you don't want to update an extension, select it and click on the "Ignore" button. It will be hidden from the list, and will remain hidden when the list is refreshed. To see ignored extensions, set the ignored filter to "Yes" in "Filter Options" (Search tools in WordPress).

The list is rebuilt every time a "Refresh info" task is launched for a website from the Dashboard (see Refresh info), so extensions with an "OK" status are removed from the list once they are up to date.
