Remote backup

Select the checkbox of one or more websites in the websites table, then choose Backup from the Bulk tasks menu. It requires Akeeba Backup Pro to be installed on the remote site, with a backup profile already selected under that site's own Backup Info tab.

A warning reminds you that this may take a long time — especially on shared hosting or when several backups run at once — and that Akeeba can email you once each backup finishes, if configured under Akeeba Backup > Options > Front-end backup.
