Sometimes the Control Center shows an "Error" status after launching a remote task:
Reviewing the log file for that website in Control Center we see the following:
Task added | ERROR | 2021-01-08 03:51:18 | This site didn't connect back to the control center before double the time set in the 'Connection timeout' field. |
If we also check the log file in the website managed, we see the following:
As we can see in this log, managed website didn't get a valid http response code after sending the info to the Control Center. This usually means it was blocked by the Control Center.
To solve this we go to the Control Center website and there to Securitycheck Pro -> Waf configuration -> Logs. Once there we change the "Add access attempts" dropdown to "Yes":
After that we launch any task from Control Center; if any remote website is blocked we will get a new log entry in Securitycheck Pro like this:
After adding the IP to whitelist everything will work fine again.
